In order to complete Lifeguard Certification, an individual must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 15 years old by the last day of class
• Complete 6–8 hours of online coursework prior to the class
• Pass a swim pre-test on the first evening, which includes:
  • 150-yard swim
  • 2-minute tread
  • 50-yard swim
  • Timed retrieval event

Upcoming Sessions Dates: 

• April 17 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• April 18 from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• April 24 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• April 25 from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Certification courses operate in a 4-day block. All course dates must be attended in full for certification.
