Thank you for choosing West Lafayette Parks and Recreation to host your next celebration. We have shelter and facility rentals for family reunions, conferences, retreats, cultural and religious ceremonies, school groups, weddings, birthday parties, and so much more. Everyone is welcome here. 

Reservations

• Log into your CivicRec account to check shelter availability and to make a reservation.
• All reservations are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.
• Rentals are for private events only.
• Selling of goods or services is prohibited unless the West Lafayette Park Board grants prior consent.
• Unless otherwise noted, prices do not include tax which will be calculated at checkout.
• Reservations can only be made for the current calendar year.
• John R. Dennis Wellness Center reservations must be made in person or via email at wellness@westlafayette.in.gov

Special Event Information

• Special Event Application Packet 2025 - This document provides information and application materials for organizing special events. The requests for hosting events must be submitted in writing by the individual or organization at least 6 weeks prior to the event date. Our staff is always available to assist you with any queries or concerns, but they cannot submit the requests. If the request is submitted after the 6-week window, it will be included in the next Park Board meeting.

Cason Family Park

2500 Cumberland Ave, West Lafayette, IN

• Hours of availability are from 8:00 AM - dusk June 21 - October 31
• Shelter reservations have a 5-hour minimum and are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE
• Parking is limited
• Playgrounds
• Fishing (catch and release) and Boating Pond (no outside watercrafts)
• Bathroom access available

Cumberland Park

• Hours of availability are from 8:00 AM - dusk, April 1 - October 31
• Shelter reservations have a 5-hour minimum and are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE
• Picnic tables available at the shelter only
• Softball field lights available for an additional $30 fee/hour
• Bathroom access available (restrooms are near the shelter area)

Lilly Nature Center/Celery Bog Nature Area

John R. Dennis Wellness Center

• Facility reservations at the Wellness Center are subject to a 2-hour minimum
• The Wellness Center is not currently accepting reservations outside of regular operating hours
• Party Room packages include 1 hour in the party room and 1 hour in the pool or gym. The Wibit may be added to pool rentals for a $200 fee
• Kitchen access and AV equipment usage available in some rooms for an additional $25 fee

Margerum City Hall

Above pricing is for not-for-profit events and meetings.  For-profit events will be charged a premium on all rentals of $15/hour for each space rented.

Municipal Pool

1200 N Salisbury St, West Lafayette, IN

• Private Rentals are available in June and July and are weather dependent
• Reservation Requests can be made in CivicRec by clicking on the gray facility rentals tab

• Host a party during regular pool hours! Two-hour rentals are available for up to 20 guests for $180. Additional guests can be added for $10. Times available are 2:30-4:30 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Riverside Skating Center

100 Tapawingo Dr, West Lafayette, IN

• Reservations may be made for December through February, outside normal operating hours
• Reservation Requests can be made in CivicRec by clicking on the gray facility rentals tab. (Organization Reservations requests can be made by contacting Brandy at 765-775-5110)
• Rental includes admission for up to 110 attendees
• Due to the nature of the ice rink, all sessions and rentals are weather dependent
• Reservation price does not include skate rental of $3/pair
• Reservations open the first Monday in November
