Mission Statement

The mission of the West Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department is to enhance the quality of life in the City by connecting its citizens to the best possible parks, recreational facilities, and programs. 

Vision

Guided by our 5-Year Plan—which outlines both program goals and major construction initiatives to elevate the citizen experience—we deliver a wide range of opportunities for all ages, from adult and youth sports leagues and swim lessons to more than 50 weekly fitness classes, including yoga, H.I.I.T., and senior-focused programs. We also provide trusted childcare programs and camps that offer safe, supportive spaces for children to learn, grow, and thrive.
