The West Lafayette Finance Department plays a role in keeping our City's financial well-being on track!

We collaborate with all City departments to prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring we use our resources wisely. Each month, we maintain utility billing records and prepare bills, making sure everything runs smoothly for our residents. Our team is also responsible for processing revenues and payments to vendors, along with providing payroll services to over 400 dedicated employees. With our commitment to managing and reporting all financial activities, we help the City stay compliant with federal, state, and local guidelines.

Utility Services

The City of West Lafayette provides wastewater treatment services to most residences and businesses within city limits.  Additionally, the City provides trash and recycling services to most residential areas.  The City of West Lafayette does not provide water services.  Most customers are provided water services by Indiana American Water (IAW), with additional services provided by a private well.
