The Communications Department leads the way in sharing the City’s message through marketing, branding, and creative content. We manage the City’s website, brand guide, social media platforms, and email communications, and we train staff to use these tools with confidence.

Our team provides communications and design support to all City departments and engages directly with the public to ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and impactful across every platform. From strategic marketing and media outreach to creative design, video production, and photography, we help bring ideas to life.

We are committed to transparency and resident engagement, with a focus on making city government more accessible and responsive. These efforts lay the foundation for stronger connections between the City and our community.

As West Lafayette continues to grow, we align our communication strategies with the City’s strategic plan, working closely with departments to amplify messaging around key initiatives and infrastructure projects.
