The Building Department issues permits for residential, commercial, and industrial construction within the city limits of West Lafayette. To verify if your project is located within the city limits, please click here. If your project is outside city limits, please call the Tippecanoe County Building Commission Office at (765) 423-9225 or the City of Lafayette Engineering Office at (765) 807-1050.

Permit review takes up to ten (10) business days with all required paperwork submitted.
