City Council

Meeting Information

The City Council generally meets the first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall (Former Happy Hollow Elementary School), 1200 N. Salisbury St., West Lafayette). The Pre-Council meeting -- in which the members discuss the agenda (including unfinished and new business) -- occurs the Thursday before the Council session and is also held in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Please check the Events Calendar in case of changes to the schedule or location. The public is welcome to attend all meetings of the Council.

For the latest Council meeting agendas and minutes, please visit our Document Center. Archives for other City boards and commissions may be found on the City Boards page.

Tips on using the Tippecanoe County Beacon Portal: Along with going directly to the Interactive District Map Layer, you may also search for a name or address and choose the Map tab.  From there, you can add West Lafayette Council Districts from the choice of Layers.  This should immediately show the Council district of the address location. For apartment buildings, try the address of the office. The Clerk's Office will be happy to help you find your Council district if you have any difficulty.
