Looking for a fun way to spend a summer evening with family, friends, and neighbors? 

Join the West Lafayette Police Department and West Lafayette Fire Department for West Lafayette Community Night on Tuesday, August 11, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cason Family Park, 2500 Cumberland Ave. 

This free event brings residents and first responders together outside of emergency situations to build relationships, enjoy family-friendly activities, and celebrate the West Lafayette community. Whether you're meeting a police officer or firefighter for the first time or reconnecting with neighbors, everyone is welcome. 

Activities for All Ages 

Enjoy an evening filled with fun, including: 

• 🎣 Fishing with first responders (no experience needed)  

• 🚒 Touch-a-Truck featuring police vehicles, fire apparatus, and specialty equipment  

• 💦 Dunk tank  

• 🍦 Free ice cream treats  

• 🎵 Live entertainment

• 📸 Photo opportunities

Meet the People Who Serve Our Community 

West Lafayette Community Night offers residents a chance to meet the police officers, firefighters, and other public safety staff who serve our community every day. Ask questions, learn more about public safety, and build connections in a relaxed, welcoming environment. 

Parking 

Overflow parking will be available at Connection Point Church, 2541 Cumberland Ave. 

West Lafayette Police and Fire Department personnel will assist pedestrians crossing Cumberland Avenue.
