Traffic

The West Lafayette Police Department is committed to traffic safety and our philosophy is that high traffic enforcement increases officer visibility, which reduces traffic crashes and criminal activity in our city.

We are committed to having safe school zones that are enforced daily, while being responsive to citizen concerns with neighborhood traffic issues. We recognize that we cannot fix all the traffic issues, nor can we be everywhere at once, however; I do believe that we can help solve traffic issues in the city and provide options on ways to address problems that affect our neighborhoods.

Periodically I will post information about current traffic enforcement issues and projects to keep citizens updated on what we are seeing in the way of traffic enforcement and crashes in our city. Please feel free to e-mail me or call with any traffic concerns that you might have and we will try to address them with the goal of making our city a safer community.
